Like our parent company, FCA FIAT Chrysler Automobiles, Champion Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM loves to give back and make a difference in the community.
FCA US LLC recently hosted the third annual Big Bike and Book Giveaway Day and presented 150 middle and elementary school students with new helmets, bicycles and children's books. The event strives to improve one or more of the ABCs--attendance, behavior and course performance.
“This great event is another example of the dedication to community service that drives FCA employees to volunteer,” said head of civic engagement for FCA US LLC and CEO of the FCA Foundation, Lesley Slavitt.
One parent said in a press release on FCA's website that her daughter would ride the bike around their neighborhood every day after school.
She also wrote in the thank you note features in the press release: “I am thanking you not only for myself but on behalf of every parent and student that was able to receive one of the bikes.
