The 2022 Jeep Cherokee Is a Great Option for Anyone Looking for a New SUV in Athens

The Jeep Cherokee is an excellent choice for those in and around Athens looking for a reliable, stylish and capable new SUV.

2022 Updates

Some pretty big changes have been made for the 2022 model year. Perhaps the most notable additions have been standard driver-assist technologies. The 2022 Cherokee gets to have automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring, among other advanced systems. Adventurers will appreciate that the SUV comes with an array of driver-assist features to aid in keeping them safe.

A few other changes have been made to specific trims. For example, heated side mirrors are now standard on the base trim, and the Trailhawk gets to have a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. The 80th Anniversary Edition is also new for the 2022 model year. Engine and Performance

The final option is a 3.2-liter Pentastar V6. With this engine, you'll have 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque. Out of the three possibilities, this engine offers the best towing capacity, as it can be used to haul up to 4,500 pounds.

There are several available 4x4 systems for Huntsville drivers to rely on. The Jeep Active Drive 4x4 system can automatically send power to all four-wheels when it detects any issues with traction.
